Alaska Spring Specials
Spring Birder's Migration and April Tours have the benefit of early bird discounts. This is the time of year when Southcentral Alaska begins to awaken. Alaska bird migrations begin and skies fill with overhead calls of geese and ducks, sandhill cranes and swans. Thermal fly zones are filled with migrating raptors like eagles, hawks, osprey and others. Another migration taking place is the Grey Whale, returning to feed in Alaska's nutrient rich waters. These tours are more viewing than doing, and not all of Alaska is out of the snow, but rates are great and crowds are low. These spring tours are offered mid April to mid May.
